Girl sh-t is the best sh-t, right? It's even worse in Hollywood,
especially when so many of them are fighting for everything: headlines,
attention, and ultimately the work.
This is about the work. And the power plays they pull to get the work over their competitors.
Bitch
#1 has been backstabbing for a while starting a few years ago when she
was vying over a then-coveted role in a major blockbuster with lucrative
potential. They'd narrowed it down to two and the studio had pretty
much decided on the better actress. The contract was about to be signed
but when B1 found out, she had her agent and her publicist publicly
release confirmation that SHE landed the part, and even though it was an
outright lie, it embarrassed her competitor so badly that her team
pulled her back from accepting the offer leaving the film's producers
with only one remaining choice.
Now she has a new opponent. And a
more formidable one. The two were both in talks for a prestige project, a
tug of war battle going back and forth. Bitch #2 launched the first
offensive. She started circulating that B1 was struggling with her
acting coach and had already fired two of them, studying with a third.
When B1 found out she retaliated by circulating rumours that B2's assets
were surgically enhanced and that she was a terror to work with, making
crews miserable on a regular basis.
B2 has now struck back with
the lowest blow yet. At a business lunch the other day, she made sure to
drop details about B1's relationship: that it's in trouble, that's
she's an emotional wreck and is prone to self harming and is trying to
save her love by getting pregnant.
It's getting uglier and uglier and B1 is out for blood. Stay tuned...

It's not just Russell Crowe who has anger issues...only he was stupid enough to beat down a dude who didn't have to survive in the business.
This ferocious lady who in these circles has always been known to be a difficult bitch keeps her attacks, with a few exceptions (like if you make the mistake of not getting out of her way quickly enough at the airport), restricted to those who have to work around her. Like PAs and caterers, makeup artists. Whichever minion catches her in a bad mood and depending on the crime, it could result in an open hand slap to the face, throwing coffee all over someone's pants, and most recently, when craft services wasn't up to her exacting standards, stalking up to an unsuspecting staffer, ripping the phone out of his ear, and screeching to the person on the other line: "you've been talking to a retard who can't do his job."
Apparently her episodes have been getting more and more violent, so much so that the director and producer on her current project have had to call in reinforcements: her husband is now travelling with her to calm her now legendary temper but also to look after the little one, who has been exposed on more than a few occasions to her viotriolic outbursts. So far...it's working. Everyone is relieved but also extra, extra cautious. Calm before the storm.

Some very interesting news. It seems that this certain A list body with the B list resume has been sticking with her guy after everyone thought that all was said and done because they got married. Not recently and no one even in the family is the wiser. They did it on a lark, but now at least she understands that in order to get out of it, people are going to find out she was in it in the first place. He's just happy to be married to her. I know when you read the first line you think it's very obvious, but it's not.

This one kind of blew me away because I did not know this actress was into charity. She is all movie all the time. B list, but I think it is more for her looks than any real acting talent. She stays extremely popular despite the fact she really does not make that many movies and seems to just stay in our eye by pap photos. Anyway, she read an article about homeless people and was fully prepared to go spend her Thanksgiving with her husband feeding homeless at the Los Angeles Mission. When she started exploring it more though she decided she wanted to give people more of a home feel for the holiday. So, she arranged to have 50 homeless families come to her place where she had set up a big tent and fed them all there and during the meal had televisions playing holiday movies and even made sure that each parent was given a gift they could give to their child on Christmas. Not too shabby.

February 10, 2012You would think that if you had reached the level that this A list movie actress has reached that you could keep yourself from trying to copy other people who are not as successful. A little bit about our A list movie actress. She is an Academy Award nominee/winner. Yep. She is that big. Oh, she did do some television back in the day and it was a very memorable, but brief role on a hit show. For the past year she has slowly begun to copy every move of this B list movie actress who is a B lister by looks alone and should in no way imply that she has any acting talent whatsoever. The two share one very important thing in common. Child/ren. If you see the B list actress do something with her child/ren, within 24 hours you will see our A lister do the same thing. B lister goes on vacation and gets photographed in a bikini? A lister gets on a plane the second she can and does the same thing. So far it is just weird, but not creepy. Does it make it more creepy if our A lister calls her guy in bed the same name as the husband of the B lister? Does it make it more creepy if the A lister has been trying to track down some of the B lister's ex-boyfriends to talk to them and also see if they are open to a little more besides talking? Oh, how about showing up at places she knows the B lister will be but never actually speaks to her. Oh, and this will be revealed.
